After the War of Wrath many of the Haladin stayed in Middle Earth and returned to our original way of life of wandering the woods or living in small family groups only coming together at times of great need. We renewed our friendship and oaths with our ancient friends and allies the wood elves from whom we learnt much lore and woodcraft.
And though after the War of Wrath we no longer knew the exact location of Haleths resting place and have searched for many a long year the woods and forests of Eriador in vain for it.
Now that Sauron has returned to Mordor and is gathering his armies we are calling upon our kin to join together once again under the banner of Haleth as one people and with our friends from the other free peoples renew our vow which though originally was to defend Haleths Barrow from being violated by the evil of Morgoth, has been extended now to drive the filth of Mordor from the remains of the ancient forests we so love and where one day we may at last find the resting place of Haleth |
